ABOUT ME

I like to bike. A lot. I mean, A lot. Will be riding t down the mrt this november to new orleans***. Although it's still a few years away, going to take a year off and cycle through central and south america.

***update- did the ride to new orleans! 10 days, 600 miles! It was quite amazing! When i get my computer back from the shop (i broke it on the trip) i'll be posting many of the pictures i took along the way
Play in a country band called the flamin a's, the best country band you'll probably never hear! Maybe you'll be so lucky to catch us while you're in town. HA! I get cabin fever pretty bad. Have a terrier named ruby who is the coolest dog ever born. My son, Oliver, ain't too shabby either. Picking up my first saiboat( sweet 16 dinghy) and will be spending a lot of time teaching myself how to sail.... i would also like to learn spanish.

I try and host as many people as i can. Love hearing all the traveling stories, and have met some great people through the site that i'll hopefully be in contact with for a long time to come. Many great nights have been had with my guest, and i try to show them the places that make memphis special to me.

Interests

biking, kayaking, traveling, school, playing music, listening to records, going to Redbirds games, annoying shirley at the lamplighter, after a couple of beers, going on and on about weather patterns.... sometimes i know what i'm talking about, sometimes i don't. looking at world maps trying to figure out where i'm going to go next.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quite a lot, but i have to say the trip we took downn to Mexico was pretty amazing. Not just because it was Mexico, but mainly because we just hopped in my van, loaded up the bikes, and drove down through every small town you could find on the gulf side. Nicest people i've ever met and some of the most amazing scenery as well. Nobody would tell us where to find an illegal cock fight, though. That was a bit of a bummer. Did get to see a bull fight in Monterrey city. Them bulls never stood a chance!
