About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Not all who wander are lost"......Awareness

ABOUT ME

I love to smile and to laugh...I can't help it most of the time :)
Grew up in the countryside of Michigan, so I know a thing or two about gardening and animals...I Love Nature! I love wandering around...alone or accompanied is great fun!
I enjoy interesting conversations, I'm really passionate about philosophy, sustainable, local agriculture and ways of living, horses, music, and learning new things!
I am a twin. (Fraternal)

PHILOSOPHY

Every moment is a unique experience and is a reason to celebrate life :)

LOVE is my personal philosophy and religion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Taking in travelers, learning so that I can give back...and meeting people!
Stayed with some of the best people when traveled through Mexico, France, Germany, Chile, and Argentina :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted for the first time in May 2010, and then met wonderful families in México in June and July 2010 when traveling through the country. I also stayed with couchsurfers in France and Germany. Have hosted since then and been taken in when traveling in Santiago, Chile and Mendoza, Argentina.
Actually, through all my travels, I have only met wonderful people and friends!

Interests

Art (painting, drawing), Anthropology, Philosophy (Metaphysics, Existentialism, and Environmental Phil/Ehtics), Limnology, playing soccer, running, jumping, listening to people, cooking (and therefore, eating), brewing (and drinking) beer (kudos to my boyfriend), wine, Ricard (thanks, JR!) finding new places, walking in the woods and Listening. Traveling, writing, reading, riding horses, living in harmony with the Earth...

I am also a bit obsessed with Otters...animals in general, though :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Must have a bit of genius behind it...even if the ending is really obvious, it's not about the destination, but the journey. Also, don't care about horror movies.
Music: Anything that makes me want to dance! and sing (but singing isn't my forte, so be warned)... I love all types (cliche country I can do without, though)...especially Classical and Traditional/folk.
Books: HIGHLY recommend "A Sand County Almanac and Sketches Here and There" by Aldo Leopold...love too many books to list here--interested in reading anything

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
