Overview
About Me
I'm a design nerd, activist and maker, and I'm currently working on my master's in design at Emily Carr U in Vancouver, BC.
I first joined couch surfing about 10 years ago when I was operating a volunteer house in Kathmandu, Nepal and I LOVED meeting travellers and opening up my home. Hoping that karma will come back this summer :) Oh, I'm also a yoga teacher, so free classes will be offered to hosts if that's of interest!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This summer I'll be travelling to three Canadian cities to work on 360 films with grassroots community groups who are making big shifts in small and creative ways. My last film was shot in Jamaica, with a group called Life Yard (check it out: https://vimeo.com/216314518).
My trip starts in Montreal, where I'll be seeking a friendly couch from about June 19-25th.
After that I'm staying with friends in TO, but will be flying back to BC after that and looking for a couch in Fort St. John from about July 5-10th - if anyone wants to check out the Paddle for the Peace, let me know!
