To embark upon an educational journey, both physically and metaphorically, writing poetry on my experiences.

ABOUT ME

Jesi-I'm traveling after graduation. I'm very excited about it- all the experiences, people, and ideas that I'll encounter! I'm lively and open, exposed and curious. I suppose I just have all the best things to say about myself, hahaha. I'm open to anything, really. I think the main problem with most people is that they take themselve's too seriously. I try not to, it's no fun that way.

Stacey-I'm pretty terrible at summarizing my existence in several sentences, and I also I hate being cliche. All I know is that I don't want to be like everyone else.

PHILOSOPHY

Jesi-Live in a way that you will be proud of tomorrow, when you die.
I just want to have something to write-think-say in my final days. What will I remember-speak-pass when i can't do-act-engage? I want my memoir to be a must read for those with similar aspirations. Words from my tongue to fall from lush pages, the most succulent fruit.

Stacey-I want to do EVERYTHING so I never have to regret missing an opportunity. I hope to realize as much of the world as I can outside of the US, and I always want to have a story to tell. One of my favorite quotes by which I strive to live everyday:"Wisdom is knowing I am nothing, love is knowing I am everything, and between the two my life moves."

Intereses

Anything new, old, interesting, and/or educational. I'm just looking to be enlightened.
I really like attractions off the beaten path; neighborhoods so mundane that they're beautiful, dirty creeks, nude beaches, cheap liquor, regrettable acts. Give me anything, I'll either enjoy it or enjoy laughing about it. Or both.

There's way too much to name and too much I've not yet read/heard/seen to even begin to be conclusive.

Stacey-I'm not big on music, but I enjoy reading, my favorites being Amy Tan, Harry Potter, The Bonesetter's Daughter, Angela's Ashes, Invisible Man, Cather in the Rye, The Handmaid's Tale, and The Tao of Pooh. I'm obsessed with Vanilla SKy.

The ocean. Tiny squares of civilization from a plane's eye view. The communicative screeches of punctuation from a tenor saxophone. My wildest dreams.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I yearn to learn anything that cannot be taught. By that, I mean that I love everything that can be explored (not instructed) and enjoyed. If anyone knows good poetry clubs in the area, that would be awesome. Arts districts are always fun too.
I'm also an expert on evolution.
Let's make crafts out of our words and experiences. You don't know what I mean, but you will.
I hope I'm as awesome in person as I seem on cs.
