ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Gerrit, I am a university musicology student from Hamburg, Germany. In the recent years I have been quite a few times to Indonesia and I recently finished studying for a year in Yogyakarta. I am interested to meet new people, have some conversations and discussions and learn more about them. I am also really interested in the culture and history of a place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I meet some really nice people on cs (mainly trough the CS hangout application). Some of those became good friends! I think Cs can be a great way to travel and get to know locals.

Interests

-traveling, getting to know different part of the world and aspects of life are some of my mature interests.

-hiking and Nature, Discovering different cultures.

-making, hearing and understanding music.

-I am also quite interested in movies and literature.

Teach, Learn, Share

To discuss and share different topics and ideas with others is an interesting activity itself and also a way to learn about yourself and about live.

I would really like to learn more languages (Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Jawa at the moment) and I really feel the need to improve my french.
