ABOUT ME
I'm working in the university hospital in Malmö as a newly graduated doctor. I live in the city, close to the hospital and on walking distance to the centre of the city. When not studying I'm having a bear with friends trying to solve the worlds problem without leaving my seat. And I dance Lindy hop.
PHILOSOPHY
I can't stand indifference, but I try to understand it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We were on our way to Sweden from Lofoten in Norway. I were to get my car examined and it was 20 degrees minus and the road was covered with blue ice. It was more or less bound to happened, we were five in the car fully equipped for a couple of days skiing and my VW-golf was carrying more weight than I think it ever had, so when the car in front of us braked without warning we had a problem. Her car was just fine for some reason but my radiator broke and the car didn´t look to good either. While standing there a 40 year old man stopped and said that he had seen us and was wondering if we needed lift back to the ferry so we could get home. The problem was that the car would have to stay so we thanked him but declined. We tried to figure out a way of getting home but as mentioned earlier it was minus 20 and it was getting dark fast. We had tents and sleepingbags with us and were prepared to sleep outside anyway so we figured that if we just could find a lawn to sleep on we would be just fine. The man had left his number and after some consideration we phoned him and asked if he might be able to help us. He went quiet and then told us that he would call back. He called after three minutes and and said that he had talked to his wife and kids and if we wanted they had a enclosed balcony we could stay on. The temperature was getting at us so we quickly accepted his offer and drove the wreck the few hundred meters to his home. Before we had unload we were offered to come in for a cup of tea and there we met the rest of the family. It wasn´t a big apartment but they were six in the family so now we were eleven in there livingroom. The oldest daughter was little suspicious but the other three seemed to find it exciting that five people were to sleep on their wooden balcony. While sitting their sipping tea with the family the father asked if shouldn´t go out and have a look at the car, at least we could identify the damage. My knowledge in mecanics is limited to that I know what a screwdriver is even when it´s not drinkable but beyond that I´m usually lost. This man was not. It took him ten minutes to know what was wrong and after half an hour had we straightened the bumber and taken out the radiator. There was a hole in the latter and he meant that we probably would need to by a new. But we went in and he offered me a beer and while the others were cooking on our camping stoves (we were offered to cook in the kitchen but felt that we had already used to much of their hospitality)we sat there and talked.
Of course it was saturday, you never crash when the garages are open and we wouldn´t find a new radiator until monday but we had the broken radiator and since it was unusuable as it was he thought that we should give it a try. So after we had eaten and he had put his daughters to sleep he went searching for epoxi-glue and he also found some bandage. So eleven pm on a saturday we were bandaging my radiator in the familys kitchen.
We went to sleep and hoped for the best and on the morning the we filled the radiator with water to see if it could hold it. It actually could, he helped me put the radiator and the other parts back on the car and exactly 24 hours after our first encounter with the norwegian man was we continuing our journey. The car passed the official examination and we had three cold but very nice days in Riksgränsen, Sweden.
Interests
Very fond of people that maybe don´t have all the answers but always is searching and don´t mind discussing them.
A bottle of wine to that and I am usually quite happy.
Otherwise I do anything with the right company.
Skiing, climbing, poker, dancing, singing, drinking, backgammon, reading, knitting, discussing politics. Last thing I tried to do was understanding complex algebra, did not go that well but I had a very good time with the Indian/American backpacker I met in Guatemala.

Like Steinbeck and Murakami.
Recommend reading American Psycho and House of God just for the fun of it.
