About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding my personal legend. In 2015 I returned to the US after living and studying abroad in Sweden for nearly three three years. I loved it so much I came back to see if I could stay in that cold, sweet little country for even longer. Now I work as a researcher at UCLA, and next up is a big career change altogether! In the meanwhile, I continue to want to cross continents and open my mind up so wide that I don't even recognize it when I pack it into my suitcase when I go home.
ABOUT ME
I've been a student of biology, anthropology, public health and of course, life. Most recently I've been taking DJ classes! I've got a perpetual curiosity about the world around me, and I strive to keep an open mind. I like to wear flowers in my hair, and paint as often as I can. If you're reading this, I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a weak spot for music that sounds good on the ukulele.
MUSIC: Beirut, Joan Baez, Imogen Heap, Philip Glass, Ravi Shankar, and maybe that one single by Drake (but you'll never get me to admit it)
Books: I Capture the Castle, Heart of Darkness, The Picture of Dorian Grey, Sophie's World, folktales
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped break the world record for the largest ukulele orchestra in Helsingborg, Sweden in August, 2011. We played an old Swedish song, "Leende guldbruna Ögon". It's corny, but it grows on you.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy exchanges. Teach me where to hunt for mushrooms in the forests of Sweden, or show me something non-touristy in your hometown, and I'll teach you how to play ukulele or how to make brigadeiro, a delicious and simple Brazilian dessert. Both are much easier than you think.
I love collaborative art projects, and I will write you a poem or a story if you ask for one. I enjoy writing letters and learning about people's passions.
