About Me
Hello and thanks for looking at my / our profile!
We are a married couple from New Zealand, now living in Australia. Before that, we were living in London, England.
In our spare time we like to keep busy, mostly exploring by going for day hikes, spending the day at the beach or just walking around our neighbourhood. We love to cook.... and eat! It's always so much fun to share meals with people all over the world. If the facilities allow, we would love to whip something up for all of us to enjoy.
No surprises then that our favourite things to do while travelling is to just get outside, explore and meet people. We try to stay fit and active.... Tim has run two marathons and I've run three half marathons, so often we like to simply walk about and see "what we find".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We've travelled to many places and our favourite memories are always those about the people we have met.
We have loved Couchsurfing so far to meet people, learn about their lives and homes and are so excited to host people when we have finished travelling and have a home again back in Australia!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: We love to spend a cozy night in watching a movie at home. Our favourites are comedy and drama.
Music: Jess: Singer-songwriters Tim: Alternative Rock We are quite big music fans and our tastes are quite different, meeting somewhere in the middle. I won't bore you with a huge list. No doubt between the two of us, there will be a match with one of your favourite performers.... unless it's Katy Perry.... we are not fans of Katy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking in Nepal. In fact Tim hiked the length of the Nepal Himalaya's at the beginning of 2017. It took 120 days!
Tim has climbed many mountains including Mont Blanc.
Teach, Learn, Share
As mentioned above we would love to hop into the kitchen.
I have also previously given a singing lesson... I could do that again.
We love learning new words. We try and speak as much of the local language wherever we are and really appreciate people taking the time to teach us new words and help with our pronunciation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As we are currently travelling for a long time we sadly do not have any gifts from home. As mentioned above we are happy to cook and also to give our time, communicating and sharing information about our lives and home.
