About Me

I've been travelling since July 2015 and I've got no plans to stop anytime soon (at least until I figure out my life)
I love travelling and exploring what different countries have to offer. I'm fairly active and enjoy getting away from the tourist-y areas and getting off the beaten track.
I've been lucky to have travelled a lot already but this is the first time I'm on my own without guidance, especially now my travel-buddy left me a few months back.
I'm prepared to sleep rough and slum it in order to continue travelling and have a 'go with the flow' attitiude (aka. I suck at planning...). Nor am I a picky eater (Spiders have been on the menu before!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although staying in hostels will help me meet a lot of like-minded backpackers; Couchsurfing seems the best way to really get the best out of where I stay. A big draw of travelling for me is meeting and getting to know locals and the true hidden gems that are local hot spots.

(It also helps that Couchsurfing is basically FREE accommodation!)

Interests

If I haven't made it clear already, travelling is a big interest. The weirder and more unique, the better the travel experience.
I'm pretty active, especially when travelling - the best way to travel and see a city is to hire a bike or just walk it (getting lost can be pretty fun)

Music, Movies, and Books

It's probably easier to say what music I don't like - Rap! Other than that when it comes to music I listen to most stuff depending on my mood (from the latest songs to film scores to remixes - anything goes really)
Movies and books tend to be the older the better and my attempt to convert to a kindle didn't work. A good, well worn book is way better than a clean, clinical screen.
