Overview
About Me
I love to travel as a way to find new connections and experiences and remind myself of the things that are important to me away from the rush of everyday life etc
I moved to Canberra at the beginning of the year and I’m a psychology student and a full time community worker here
I am Australian but grew up in Central Asia and have spent a good chunk of the last few years bouncing between countries so it feels homey to be around people who have seen those parts of the world
Some other things I love are:
- being in the mountains or by a lake, wild swimming
- trying new foods and cuisines!! (there’s really good Ethiopian here)
- campfire chats
- road trips
- cats and puppies
- side quests
- live music gigs / raves
- wandering through museums and old cities
- reading anything/everything
- learning languages !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love learning about a place through the people who live there and understanding how they see and experience the world! I’ve also had lots of great experiences couchsurfing and want to pay the favour forward for others 🤍
