About Me
I currently live in Missouri, but my husband and I spent about ten years in Chicago. Originally from metro-Detroit. I'm a librarian & he is a funeral director. We have a cute little dog, a lovely garden, and spend our free time playing board games, writing music, reading, volunteering, lounging about and riding bikes.
I'm a non-smoker & a tidy guest. I'm allergic to gluten & wheat, so that's pretty fun... otherwise, I'm pretty laid back and a go-with-the-flow kind of person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and think the whole idea of Couchsurfing is awesome. As a lowly librarian, I don't have a comma in my paycheck, making it obnoxiously expensive to get a hotel-- but I love to travel & to host people.
If you are in St. Joe & have celiac disease, give me a holler, we have a nice guest room and a gluten free kitchen.
Music, Movies, and Books
Children's Lit & YA reads
I know most of the words to classic rock and oldies, also listen to reggae and hip hop.
Favorite movies: The Jerk, Half Baked, and a variety of documentaries.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Aside from general conversation, I appreciate humor, music, and I can cook. I love animals, especially cats and dogs. If you need help fixing something or someone to pull weeds in your garden, I'm pretty good at that stuff, too.
