About Me

I have hosted people through house groups for years, this is the first time I am surfing abroad.
I love riding bikes, dancing with a troupe called The Sprockettes, and having various adventures.
I am a welder, working with mostly structural steel and building ships. I own goats and a nonprofit using animals for therapy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As much as I love hostels where you meet travelers, there is something truly special about staying in a home of a local. I would love to have individual experiences with people who know the culture, the history, and region.
Being a tourist is fun, but I want to know the places I visit on a deeper level.

In my past homes we offered hosts a large, strange family with our unique views and inviting home. I seek to find that in other parts of the world.

And I want to cook!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many amazing things I have experienced. I would love to share them with you! But to write one, we'll go with the travel theme. ;)

It took me 7 years and many different strange trips, but I have been to every state in the USA. Trust me when I say, it's like many different countries in ways.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a great cook, have lots of stories, and would love to share both with hosts.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Peru

Countries I’ve Lived In
