I'm an American ex-pat in Tanzania working for a small NGO. I'm into classic rock, cooking, books, new places and new people. I've previously backpacked in Europe, SE Asia and East and Southern Africa and hope to travel more soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When backpacking in the past I mostly stayed in hostels. As a result I met a lot of awesome backpackers but very few people from the countries I was actually visiting. When I travel in the future, I want to meet more local people and have more local experiences.
