About Me
Fun and friendly Canadian easy to get along with and enjoy making new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Once upon I time I did the typical "Euro tour" travelling as many countries/cities as possible on an amount of time dictated by my railcard. Now I prefer a slower travel pace, meeting locals and finding the true heart of places I visit.
Interests
When not studying I spend as much time outdoors as I can - biking, hiking, or relaxing in parks as I slowly adjust to city life. I grew up on a farm in rural Ontario, if you want to talk about agriculture or food production, I'm your girl. Currently studying my masters in agriculture at Universtät Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany. End goal, work within the agricultural sector of rural development.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Hip hop, dance, folk, country.
Movies aren't my scene. I typically fall asleep within half an hour of a movie being put on. But if it keeps me laughing I stay interested.
Books, historical fiction is my go to, but I'm always experimenting, recently getting into African literature. Nerd alert.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Doing field work in Northern Ghana for my masters thesis, falling down laughing with my favourite local women in a mixture of English/Anufo. It was so normal at the time, but in hindsight it makes me even happier than it did that day; two people from such different worlds are able to connect and share some genuine laughs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
