About Me

I'm half Italian, half Lithuanian/English. I've lived in London nearly all my life, so I know the city and its hidden spots like the back of my hand.

I'm quite a creative person; I write a lot, and really love art in all its forms. I'm also something of an ambivert - while I love meeting new people, but I'm also pretty chilled and sometimes just like listening to stories about other people's lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Really up for travelling and experiencing the world a bit more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Okay so this bit is hard to narrow down, but here goes...

Music: Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, Joao Gilberto, Cartola, Tchaikovsky, Bon Iver, Billie Holiday, Biggie Smalls... The list could go on, but I really do love every genre (and have a growing fascinating for world music, and a real soft spot for reggaeton ie Maluma)

Movies: My all-time favorite would have to be 'Once Upon a Time in America'. Close runner-ups are: 'Dark Knight', 'Cinema Paradiso', 'Amarcord', 'Une Prophete', 'Leviathan'

Basically the running theme is that I love foreign music and films, I enjoy learning about new cultures in every way possible.

Books: My favorite authors/poets are: Thomas Hardy, James Joyce, Leo Tolstoy, Ezra Pound, John Donne, TS Eliot, George Herbert

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to say really... At the moment I'm planning my dream trip around South America, so once I do that, that'll be amazing! Learning Biblical Hebrew from scratch was pretty cool too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to help people improve their English, and I'd say I'm quite a good teacher as I helped my mum with her English. I love to learn things; my day is quite frankly not complete if I haven't shared and/or gained knowledge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All I can offer is a very genuine conversation and company, paired with a deep curiosity to learn more about you and your lifestyle! I also am up for partying and/or chilling, so I'm super flexible.

But if you're as into music, literature or religion/philosophy as me, then all the better!! :)
