I've had an interesting year after dropping everything at home in Cape Town to travel. There's been heartbreak and at first it was scary, but there's also been a ton of adventure, excitement and love. I've walked five hundred kilometers across the North of Spain, fallen asleep losing count of shooting stars in the Sahara desert, summited 4071 meters in the High Atlas mountains, stood under a sky lit up with an aurora borealis from horizon to horizon, sat ten days in silent meditation and sailed from Menorca to Gibraltar with only dolphins and the stars to keep me company on my midnight watch. The travel bug got me bad, but I can't wait to see where it takes me :) I'm always keen to get inspired by other travelers and form those lasting connections that come from sharing adventures, love and stories.

Monuments don't make a place - people do! And if there's one thing I've learned whilst traveling, it's to love and trust people.

Interests

Film photography (my Minolta SRT101 is ALWAYS beside me), travel, learning about new cultures and languages, cooking and baking, writing (currently trying to get a blog going:), food, DANCING, music... any new experience or adventure that gets my heart pumping.
