Overview
About Me
I'm 35, have always loved traveling and meeting new people wherever I go. I have worked in business for the past 10 years and lately have been cultivating my arts and adventure side more, looking to shift careers (currently taking my time to decide on what that will look like).
I love painting in acrylic, and have been working slowly on a few children's book ideas. I have always noodled around on the guitar and am practicing both acoustic and bass guitar at the moment. I'd like to jump in to a few open mics soon and see if I can't find some folks to jam with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been traveling for the past 4-5 years with my job. I lived in California for a year, but it was a bit far from family on the East Coast. Though I grew up on a Christmas Tree Farm, I'm not a fan of the winters and my area - though beautiful and close to the Appalachian trail - is basically suburbia and growing fast. I have been enjoying exploring places to settle down which boast warmer winters, access to water/beaches, outdoor activity, culture and a great music scene.
