Hello!

I'm Jessica, born and raised in Portugal, moved to England at 18 to study film and theatre at Oxford Brooke's University and then randomly moved to Australia for 3 months that turned into 14 months! After that decided to live in London - where I have been for almost 3 years now working in medical recruitment.

I'm just about to start travelling Canada, North, Central and South America for a couple years and intrigued by this whole couch surfing thing!

I'm super low maintenance, pretty chill and super positive.

Looking to meet people to have a good time with and who have good banter!

Interests

Cheese. Good cheese is the one.
Post. I love writing letters and postcards. You can make someone's day so much better by just sending something in the post that isn't a bill.
Good films and series (old school family classics, suspense, documentaries, comedies...), photography, writing, reading, watching sunsets, space, hanging out by bonfires, chilling with mates, card magic, any kind of fire juggling or circus stuff, being scared as you start an adventure...

In terms of music I like everything from the old school stuff my folks listen to (Simon and Garfunkel, Van Morrison...), reggae (Bob, Barrington Levy, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh, Eek-a-Mouse...) to some more chilled out stuff (Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Donavan Frankenreiter, Noah and the Whale, Mumford &
Sons...) My newest find is Tom Misch and Homme - loving them chilled out vibes with a beat.
Movies - Love my old school family classics, suspenses, comedies, documentaries... Some that deserve a mention are Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Kill Bill, Whiplash, Requim for a Dream, Trainspotting, Shallow Grave, Birdman, All About My Mother, Lift is Beautiful, Talk To Her, The Motocycle Diaries....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to Australia on impulse?
Spent my rent money on flights to India and left five days later?
Written 5 kids books?
Writing approx 70 letters/postcards a month just to keep it old school?
Worked as a PA for Cate Blanchett?
Bought my bearded dragon, Darwin?

I think I'm at the start of my most amazing journey now!
