Overview
About Me
I am a South African who is currently travelling the world. I'll be living and studying in various different countries around the world for the next few years.
I'm studying cognitive neuroscience at a "travelling university" where each semester is based in a different city around the world.
Year 1: San Francisco
Year 2: Seoul & Hyderabad
Year 3: Berlin & Buenos Aires
Year 4: London & Taipei
Between the different cities and during breaks I'm guaranteed to be travelling to nearby cities, wherever the flow takes me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Much of my life revolves around travel, and the best part of any trip is getting to know the locals. There's no better way to experience local culture and people than by seeing how people actually live.
Interests
- languages
- solo travel

Music, Movies, and Books
I studied classical music and Jazz for 13 years, so anything that falls into those categories is likely on my playlist. I have an appreciation for various genres though.
My movies and books often have the same themes - suspense, thrillers, and adventures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a backpack and moved to China alone to teach English for a year.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn about my hosts, their lives and their interests, and I would love to add languages to my ever expanding list.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have great stories to tell from all my adventures (and mishaps) in China and around the world. I have a unique accent for storytelling!
