ABOUT ME

My most recent stage in life has been escaping Calgary to go on an extended bike ride. I've covered some distance in Europe hitting England, France, and Spain, before jumping over to New Zealand, and now Australia. My travels will soon bring me home to Canada, but still to new locales as I plan to get out east to search for a place to settle for the time being and hopefully get back into school.

Always seek to learn more, and explore more, and appreciate even the tiny details.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with a couple of hosts in England and France, and New Zealand. I look forward to meeting more great people during my travels, and hosting when I find myself a more permanent location.

Centres d'intérêt

Big interest of course is cycling, and bikes in general. I can't help but ogle any shiny single speed or hot bike I see, giving it due appreciation. I love urban wandering, getting lost down streets or alleys, new or familiar. I'm pretty keen on architecture, buildings of any sort, big to small, minimal to extravagent. I enjoy the sporting life. I'll play anything, but tops include biking, badminton, soccer, and I'd like to get back into learning to climb.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm a sucker for the 80's classics...Breakfast Club, Heathers, The Labyrinth, and The Goonies of course among others. Newer movies I've enjoyed Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hard Candy, Pan's Labyrinth, Hot Fuzz, Two Days in Paris. I like loads of different music, heavy on the indie though; Knife, TV on the Radio, LCD Soundsystem, Band of Horses, the Decemberists, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tegan and Sara, Pixies, Violent Femmes, Buddy Holly, The Hollies, Nina Simone, on and on.

Well I've definitely still got a high from my cycling excursion of the last few months. The trip has been amazing in so many ways.
