About Me
CURRENT MISSION
It's how you use it...
ABOUT ME
Enthusiastic. Interested. Therefore easily distracted. Most people would say very friendly. I'm more interested in TV than I like to acknowledge. I love travelling but I'm sick of backpacking. I want to see more of where people live and work and talk about what matters.
I'm trying very hard to learn Spanish.
PHILOSOPHY
Respect.
It's how you use what you've got and what happens to you in your life that matters.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love finding out about the world and hearing people's stories. Hosting couchsurfers is always enlightening and enjoyable. My partner and I are also hoping to meet/stay with some Couchsurfers when we travel in Australia and South America next year.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I used Couchsurfing to find people to hang out with while traveling. I met some fantastic people in Buenos Aires and Valparaiso.
My partner and I have also hosted some fabulous guests at our home in Melbourne.
Interests
Creative and constructive activism, coffee, cooking-eating, Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF), politics, policy, putting people into environmentalism, political ecology, playing titchu (cards), cycling, reading, dancing (which I don't get to do enough).

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Murakami, Hemmingway, Orwell, Arundhati Roy, Alain de Boton.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can pass on some mean beginners Latin skills, and introduce you to my favourite card game - titchu. I love a big discussion on politics, policy philosophy and changing the world.
As mentioned above, I am desperate to lose my monolingual mark of shame by learning Spanish. Any assistance or opportunity to practice much appreciated!
