ABOUT ME

I was born in the USA and then my family moved to Australia for 10 years then moved back to the States. I love to travel all over, especially internationally. The US is alright, I just feel a greater sense of adventure overseas.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe "luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." So it's important to take advantage of every opportunity because you never know where it will lead you.

I have yet to stay with a fellow couchsurfer, but im looking forward to it!

Interests

Anything movie related. I love adding additions to my DVD collection and seeing films on the weekend. I like to read, and go to plays...traveling, foreign languages, dancing, and chocolate.

Favorite Books-Sue Grafton mysteries, and anything by John Grisham (especially Runaway Jury, A Time to Kill, The Rainmaker, and The Broker).

Favorite TV Shows-The Simpsons, 24, Prison Break, Friends, Family Guy, and Law and Order: SVU

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided literally at the last minute to fly to New York (a 5 hour flight). I decided about 7pm that night, ran home and packed and caught the last flight out about midnight. I slept maybe 3 hours the entire weekend. Did a quick trip up to Canada to Niagara Falls and came home Monday. Was a scary idea at the time but I loved it. And now it's one of my favorite memories.

I'm a film major so I can recall plenty of random film facts, and I know how to make a film (while mediocre) from beginning to the last stages in the editing lab. :)
