Always interested in meeting new people.. Love what surfers bring to the space! The stories, the gratitude, the smell of the open road, ahhhh.. Really enjoy feeding my spirit by helping out fellow travelers and inducing good karma. Plus everyone is so cool and carefree and interesting, and on top of that I love the good beer they leave for me ;) I spend my time reading and working on my house, as well as time with family and friends.
I'm usually here for 3 weeks, then gone traveling for a week or two.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Originally my ex girlfriend and I joined the site to host. We had extra space here and liked the idea of opening it up to travelers. I didn't know it then that I would really come to enjoy the inflow of people and the ideas and perceptions they bring into my life. Besides the spiritual nourishment I get from it, I also have received a vitamix, money from China, maple syrup from Canada, countless bottles of wine, family recipes, and life changing views about things. Also, ayahuasca, peyote.

Music, Movies, and Books
Podcasts about history, ancient cultures, spirituality. Really on the hunt for some meditative trance inducing music from the asian subcontinent, so if you know of any... I feel as though there are different energies during different seasons and I try to embrace the changing of them. I think a lot of people get depressed when it gets cold out because they want it to be summer all the time, but these dark months are spiritual, reflective times to be spent in solitude, and also around friends and family, who provide the warmth you need to make it through.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Back in the 90's, instead of being on time to night school, I was outside in my car smoking a bowl and being late, when I saw a small meteor crash into a field. I know, can you believe it? I was actually in night school in the 90's!
I watched my mom take her last breath.
I almost died going scuba diving. I think I died during my first ayahuasca ceremony.
