I tend toward eclectic tastes that change with the wind...

At the moment, I'm really enjoying the work of Haruki Murakami. I like his rather matter-of-fact surrealism. Where hyperreality is just as viable as the mundane.

Really liking the horror genre right now. I enjoy being challenged regarding what is acceptable to film. It should be thought provoking, however. And yes, thought-provoking horror films do exist. The French film "Martyrs" comes to mind.

Music: anything from Vivaldi to Adele.
