ABOUT ME

I'm a transplant to the SF Bay Area, escaping too-long winters and lack of heavy bass in upstate New York. I lived in SF for 10 months before being blessed with a Craigslist miracle and finding my beautiful roomie, which has turned into 4 roomies and a huge friend-fam house. I sometimes weekend the hell outta my weekends between East Bay and San Francisco but I also love tuning into all the Excellent Nature around here and trips to Santa Cruz...or just being a homebody. I work for my wine money at a green energy tech venture capital firm and I am studying to be a midwife. I wobble between holistic health and complete and utter debauchery - it's a process. I like to dance by myself and with friends, drink and eat adventurously, exchange vulgar wordplay, play with animals, make a lot of sounds and faces. Dream jobs include: voice actor, skydiver, tantric priestess, writer, midwife. I get vaguely annoyed when: people stand to the left of an escalator instead of walking.

Essentially, eager/easy to entertain.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate is a local so I tend to gratefully follow her lead on plans, enthusiastically down for whatever. Sharing is caring and I will provide you as much comfort and joy as I can while you are with me. I put the "y!" in 420 and if you need a place to retreat my room has nice colors and lots of space. If we get cozy and familial I will sing for you, if you like that. I give good 1-minute shoulder massages but my hands are small so its fleeting. We keep fun toys, art and knick-knacks around the house for when you aren't adventuring.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've only ever hosted! It has been great having people over to show around and party down.

In general life, however, I have slept on many a couch and sometimes prefer them, although my queen sized futon is pretty boss.

1) Slept overlooking Glacier Grey in Patagonia.
2) Tandam skydove with someone who later got fired for being drunk on the job.
3) Assisted in a Cesarean section delivery.
