Planning a trip to Italy

ABOUT ME

I'm Jess and am writing this on behalf of both me and my roomie, Sam. We have been friends for about nine years now after having met in college. Though we work in different fields, completely different backgrounds and personalities, we make great travel buddies because she's totally laid back and, what can I say, I'm controlling, so I do the planning and make the arrangements. Together, we've done Las Vegas, Washington DC and Columbus, OH, and, as you can read above, we've planned a trip to Italy this year. So if our trip doesn't get cancelled, we'll be looking for some places to stay around October/November.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, on this I just speak for myself, my purpose in life is to be able to reflect back someday and say I've lead a meaningful, adventurous life. I also like to try to push my comfort level by doing new and/or scary things (see Amazing Things Done).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ummm, not sure what this means, but we're trying to participate by offering up our couch and doing some couch-surfing of our own later on this year.

Interests

Speaking on behalf of my roomie as well, I'm going to say travelling, dancing, relaxing, artsy stuff, movies, museums, reading, crossword puzzles, nothing out of the ordinary.

Sam's been watching a lot of indie movies lately. I enjoy reading more than tv, and lately it tends to be either financial magazines (work-related) or news magazines or National Geographic.
