Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Nature called with her cool, sunny day in South Carolina; a hiking event was posted on meetup? or Fb? generally online (by a CSer, Mister J.D.).. eventually we self-rewarded with tacos. And that's my story.

This group was the first experience with CSing and the community.

It's brought shared memories of hiking with funny bunnies.. realizing the incompatible,.. and this feeling of Expansiveness, a knowing of possibilities. The connections led me to one of the best galpals, bonding over kindred values, bioluminescent jellyfish kayaking, a neon sunset that kissed our whole skin orangepink!, CS Crashes, tuktuking overseas for surf and scuba - ah.. [eye twinkle 9_9]

I enjoy..
being Host and Guest of persons who feel we'd be like schoolmates. Projects. Captain Planeteer together. Comb our dreadlocks together - I've not had any, but whimsically, I can imagine.

I do ask that you check your reasons before sending a request...or accepting my request. As your (former) guest/host, I won't CS-date; this is my personal-preference. Similarly, I've had to remove myself from an imposing-roommate situation.

I've seen writings to please care about the host as more than just a one-night stand or place (which resonates). And I understand that we all start new to apps.

I've further learned that we Receive what we Accept into our lives,.. and I want to selectively share energy with messages that : Start simply with the word "Almonds," please, so that I know you've acknowledged this person 🙆,.. as I acknowledge you. 😜

Prefer adventure, dramedy, mystery (e.g., LotR, Agatha Christie books -- otherwise I cry with sad, Bambi parts). Healthcare is thriller stories in itself so.. no gore films.

Hobbies are like playing 'Where's Wanda'. I end up taking myself to a famcy dinner and moshing fests and such and such. Strange to me, I was a nightclub hostess during University, and I wasn't particularly much of a dancer, at that time. Mos' def' a belated eye-opener to the shady part in us 🐣🐝.. Especially when persons start slurring, some are as interesting as a thumbtack.

I enjoy low-stimuli while still wanting to share my time and space. I know how some can be uncomfortable with types of silence, as if it's social taboo only awkward people do💁- fyi, that tree in Lord of the Rings stated that some things.. worth saying,, take time.

I like hearing the pitter-patter of family gatherings as I fall asleep. I'm game for independently reading, together. Meditating together, Wim Hoff style. Quietly playing stare-contest to a prized box of bonbons. I like simple, serene.. the way 90's Grunge or the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack takes us away~

This's a restrictive question [box]. People do so many amazing things... ontop of having been chosen, out of all the other zygotes (we're "egg-beaters", heeh, get it?), to be born.

What tops being Chosen, other than getting to Choose... ?

Teach, Learn, Share

...This ellipsis leads to the topic of snacks. I'll likely have pesca/tarian for you and cook with you (e.g., traditional Filipino dishes because sis-in-law is aristotle at it) or pick from the garden. I buy what I'm willing to personally end or intrude on its udders and orifice: cheese, honey, nutmilk and lots of pastries. I feel consumer-accountable to even fish.. then excuse myself with "Nobody's perfect".

Bake. I like to bake. Everyone can; this's what fire-extinguishers are for.
