About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to learn as much as I can and become fluent in French and German

ABOUT ME

I'm a little travel bug. My parents took me to New Zealand for the first time when I was 3 months old, and that's where it all started. I went to Germany with my best friend and 16 and moved to New Zealand when I was 19 and stayed for a year.

I am an avid reader, I've just started an online literature course, and am wondering why I haven't done so sooner. I write, poems and the occasional short story. Also, I love to crochet, I have a ridiculous amount of yarn laying on hand, and a multitude of projects on the go.

I also love biking, but I bought a scooter a couple years ago and it's so much fun to ride my poor bicycle has been somewhat ignored. It is my dream to one day have the gear to go on bike tours.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal philosophy... Hmmm, I think right now it is, take the bull by the horns! Get on with it and jump in head first, you'll sink or float, take the risk. I like a warm, dry place to sleep, but I like trying new things and putting myself in new situations. Life is short right?

Music, Movies, and Books

I have always been VERY bad with music, I can hum along to the tune and love it, but until recently I rarely knew the artists, song names, or many of the lyrics, this is changing and I love learning about new and old artists!
I am an avid reader, when I have time I always have a book in my hands...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day after I had been living in this horrible little flat way out in a Wellington suburb I decided to go for a walk, and found myself in a natural park (I didn't know existed) and on a trail to a look out. Up and up I went and what did I discover but an old world war two look out base (preserved for tourists) and an AMAZING view of the whole city right out to the ocean. It was incredible!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm... this is an interesting little box... I can crochet, anyone who has a couple hours to devote to learning the basics is welcome to my teaching :)

I love languages, any chance to practice my french or german would be wonderful!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Fiji, Germany, Laos, New Zealand, Sweden, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
