About Me
'And my life is good, I have what I need, and sometimes the wind, and sometimes the sea.. and often the rain, and slightly the sun and sometimes I sit still, but mostly I run.'
In the past three years I have spent more time outdoors than in - working as a white-water raft guide and teacher in the great red-rock desert of the American southwest. It has been thrilling and serene, but this spring I have decided to take-out of the river, and instead cross the ocean!
I will be traveling in Europe with my partner Spencer for about 1 month this February :)
I am a curious and open person, always excited to meet and get to know people.
"I would not build a house for myself, and count it as a part of my good fortune that I do not own a house. But if I had to, then I should build it as some of the Romans did- right into the sea. I should not mind sharing a few secrets with this beautiful monster." -N
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
On my last trip to Europe, 5 years ago, I met some of my greatest friends through couchsurfing. While I haven't used the network extensively, I have been able to host a few travelers at my various homes in the U.S.
This network is an incredible thing. It is these webs of trust and care that truly hold up our world.
