About Me
Hello,
As its strange to talk about yourself so I'll keep it factual which may make me sound like a bit of a robot.
I was born in Australia but grew up in Ireland. I've lived in France for a few years so I'm fluent in that language.
Ive worked a lot of seemingly unconnected jobs from lumberjack to chef, teacher and theatre technician (basically dressing in black and doing speedy scene changes and flying in curtains, scenery and people on pulley systems).
I studied philosophy in Dublin (so can bore most people at will) and am currently studying filmmaking in Leeds.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Its a great way to meet people when your travelling alone and find the little things that people living in a city know which you'd miss otherwise. Ontop of that its free so theres not much to dislike.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love soul, jazz and anything they gets you moving.
I read a lot so theres no point listing off books (I do, as an Irish person, enjoy my Joyce and Beckett).
I'm a big fan of the Russians and Japanese when it comes to film, especially Tarkovskey and Ozu.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being born must have been pretty amazing but alas I can't remember it.
