I graduated Architecture school back in December in Atlanta and I grew up in Ohio. I've backpacked in Europe, and I've done some traveling around the Southeast US, mostly for rock climbing. This past January I went climbing in Mexico, and most recently I'm in Hawai'i on O'ahu.

Interests

In my free time I like to go rock climbing, watch movies, and listen to music.

I like to cook my own meals and experiment with food, it usually turns out pretty well. I'd love to learn new things to cook and I'd be happy to teach anyone what I know. I'd be even happier if someone else could teach me a few things.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music goes Im kinda all over the place, I especially like singer/songwriters and folk or folk/rock, but I also like alt and progressive rock.

I read a lot and it's kinda all over the place, Dune and Lord of the Rings are some of my favorites, LOTR especially when I'm traveling. I also read a lot of non-fiction type stuff.

Old samurai movies are my favorite, good ones and cheesy ones. I also like anything that's kinda strange or off the wall, David Lynch especially.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Training for 3 weeks at a Zen monastery has to be at the top of the list, but rock climbing in Mexico was a close second.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what I have to teach but I am excited to learn about as many things as possible. If I have my climbing gear with me I'm always happy to teach what little I know. I can also talk about Architecture and movies and maybe some books too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My excitement and enthusiasm for new experiences. I can't wait get to know new people while I am traveling. I'd love to share some experiences and stories with people, I'm hoping I'll make a lot of new ones too.
