Overview
About Me
Canadian looking to meet people from around the world. Quit my job in 2015 looking for new experiences. Always searching for my next journey, be it in a new country or just my own city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is an awesome way to experience local cultures from like-minded, interesting individuals.
While I generally travel solo, I have never really enjoyed seeing cities this way. I think to understand a big city requires the help and knowledge of a local to understand, and couch surfing provides that option.
Interests
I like to experience variety in all it forms. I am passionate about knowledge and learning to understand people and how they think.
Mostly vegetarian but may make the occasional exception, particularly for cultural and home cooked meals.
I like spend at least one day in every city I visit walking around as long as my legs will take me. Just need a point in the right direction.
I am generally barefoot more than most open-minded people think is reasonable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought a motorbike without ever having driven one and rode it for 3 months through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
Walked the Camino Del Norte along the north coast of Spain, the Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp in Nepal, and the Pacific Crest Trail across the USA, all in the last year.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A great attitude, interesting conversation, and a willingness to experience everything you have to offer. I also have some weird ideas about this world and how we can make it better.
And my mom says I'm funny.
