About Me

I have recently completed my studies in engineering and I'm taking a few months off to travel Europe and India. Mainly to get some perspective on the world.
So far I've spent a month in UK, doing a cycling trip, now I've posted my trusty bike (Gary the Goat) back home and I'm backpacking around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people and hear about their perspective and philosophy of life. Also I hope to get some insight into locals perspective of their city, town and/or culture.

Interests

I love doing anything creative, writing music, woodwork or cooking.
I like playing music, especially when it's shared or collaborating with people.
I learned classical violin for around 15 years and I love learning new tunes on the guitar.
I love being in nature whether it's hiking through some countryside (I've never some across a snake when hiking in Australia yet) or cycling through a forest.
I love learning about different cultures when I travel, but I've found this is a bit hard when staying in hostels because, although I get to meet really cool people from all over the world, I don't always get to meet locals.
I'm interested in sustainable living, although I don't always go the beat in this myself, I think it would be really cool to change the way that suburbs are structured in the western world so as to be more communal and sustainable. because this is where most of the consumption of our recourse is happening,
