Overview
About Me
I'm a student from Auckland, New Zealand. In 2016 I did an exchange at Berkeley in California, and I couch surfed through Central America for two months afterwards. Studying philosophy, economics and law, the future looks to be filled with offices, long hours and "networking". But until the inevitable I'm here to explore the world through the eyes of as many varied people as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to see a place is from over the shoulder of a local. Hearing people's experiences and stories offers vastly richer picture than just wandering around and mindlessly seeing landmarks. I think everyone has something to gain from meeting new people, and those from completely different cultures offer even more. I've experienced a huge amount of generosity from couch surfers and so now I'd love to give back and give people somewhere to crash in Auckland.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversation, an open mind and a love of adventure. My perspectives are characterised by an unwavering optimism and desire to make the world a better place. Highly logical, sometimes unconventional. I'm a big nerd and can offer something on just about every conversation topic, but will simultaneously be ready for all night partying or all day treks.
