Overview
About Me
I'm an always young-at-heart, humorous, fun loving and adventure seeking girl, who has had the privilege of growing up in different cities in India, having studied in Canada, and is now living in Ohio, USA, working on her own business. I believe that life has afforded me some lovely opportunities- of learning, of giving and most importantly, of growing. I'm thrilled by the idea of change, for it excites the nomad in me to plan her next adventure, and love to tackle challenges of any kind with the grit of a professional and enthusiasm of a child.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm an avid traveller who finds the art of travelling to be therapeutic. I've always stayed in conventional hotels while travelling to new places, and during my various pursuits out and about the cities, have come across some amazingly intellectual and accomplished people. I'd like to continue the journey of meeting awesome individuals by letting them host me, become a part of their extended worlds for brief periods of time, and come out enriched as a person. I would love to meet people who share my interests as well.
One day soon, Id start to host peeps at my place. I take great pride in who I am as a person, especially in my hospitable nature towards people. It comes partly from the community that I belong to, and partly coz I've experienced some amazing hospitality from ppl all over, and would like to keep the tradition rolling.
Interests
I love to hike just about any place that offers the freedom to explore the outdoors in their raw state.
I'm a self proclaimed foodie, who is currently in the process of designing a food based concept business. I love to cook and host people for conversations regarding different topics, complete with great food and lovely locations.
I love the sense of tranquility that yoga provides, and really enjoy doing it and talking about it.
I enjoy dancing and feel that swinging to beats transports one to another world of ecstacy.
I enjoy wines and occasional cocktails, especially in contemporary settings, which could be a cosy home or an upscale bar.
I love to make each travel experience of mine a bit adventurous by trying or doing something that I haven't done before, and love it when someone else with a similar taste for adventure joins in.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm game for anything, as mood permits. Really enjoy reading fiction, autobiographies, poems and inspirational stuff. New age comedy, cookery, artsy stuff. World politics and economy. Human relationships and mind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have recently signed up for motorcycle lessons, in order to do a road trip on the motorbike across USA soon.
Teach, Learn, Share
I feel that learning is a constant process, each event, person and thing in life teaches us something, if we are willing to learn. Each entity is like a story book waiting to be read. The more you read, the more you learn. The more you share, the better you learn.
Id have opinions on some things, so if you ask, I may talk about them. As for the rest, im willing to learn :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My passion for many things, including discussions about cultures, lives, travel, food, photography, business and entrepreneurship. I'd love to cook for my hosts, as my living in different cultures has impacted my taste for culinary arts, and am a pretty seasoned home cook, who loves to treat her friends/companions to the best of Indian/ Chinese/ Healthy/ American/Mexican cooking, paired with the bestest quality wines, teas and coffees. Not to mention, my ever willingness to go out and discover finer nuances of the place.
