Hello everyone, my name is Jesse. I'm a 25 year old Dutch guy from Eindhoven.
Currently I'm doing a roadtrip around Australia with my twin brother and a friend. Experiencing that aussie lifestyle. Back in the day I would travel around Europe by train. It's an amazing experience and you get to meet a lot of new friends and see so many things in just a couple weeks. This was for me the reason to start travelling the rest of the world. The other reason is food! I want to try as many foods all over the world as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

About a year ago I went to a lecture about travelling from Tomislav Perko. It was an CS'er who shared his story and after reading his book I was convinced and joined CS. He had so many funny and moving stories about the people he met on CS and I knew I wanted to be part of this community.

Interests

I studied psychology and always like to talk about it. My favourite sport football (soccer) My home team is PSV Eindhoven, if you know them you're already a legend. I enjoy the occasional walking trail and just let nature amaze me, I just did a couple in Australia and it was breathtaking, If you like to see the pictures are on my instagram @jjrasing.
Another hobby of mine is cooking. I'm not a chef or anything, but I just like good food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently i'm reading the book "1000 days of summer" it's the sequel to his first book. My favourite movie is The Big Lebowski, i can watch that anytime. Also a fan of the Guardians of the galaxy, the pineapple express, waiting... and star wars. A couple of artists I like are Roosevelt, childish gambino, Dotan, Mumford and sons, the XX, Coldplay and Nora en pure. I'm also a big fan of Jazz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived for six months in Bangkok for my internship. I worked there at a local university as a student counselor. It was an really amazing time and you get to experience the city on a whole new level. I love Bangkok because everyday you could find something new and exciting to do, also the streetfood is amazing there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Dutch, German or English aswel as some interesting things about psychology. I'm also good listener but I can tell stories aswell.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can always provide a good meal for my host. I can make a pretty mean stir fried rice, a cheesy risotto and of course some Dutch recipes.
