I am a visiting student at Oxford. I am traveling around Eastern Europe through March and April. I am relatively new to Couchsurfing and mostly my experiences have been with jumping from one hostel to another, so I hope to meet new people and have a generally good experience with this. I have traveled around Europe before but never been further than Austria, so I'm looking forward to learning more about the rest of Europe.

Interests

I am a history major, which makes my travels in Europe all the more exciting, as it is riddled with insteresting historical places to visit. I also study vocal performance and come from a family of musicians, so learning about and performing music is one of my favorite pastimes. I love animals and, thankfully, have no allergies, so I'll cuddle with anything, although cats are my favorite. I am a vegetarian.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of show tunes, but I also love indie folk, classical, opera, and jazz.
My favorite movie is O Brother Where Art Thou, closely followed by Happy Feet, and It's A Wonderful Life, and I love anything that will make me cry or laugh uncontrollably. I don't go for scary movies or romantic comedies.
I love the Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Laurie R. King's Mary Russel novels, Harry Potter, and so forth.

I watched a protest in Italy while eating gelato.
