About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people and places, and practice my Spanish!

ABOUT ME

Hey everyone!
My name is Jesse and I’m an American from Madison, Wisconsin. I taught English in Chile for the six months and I am still traveling around South America. I loved living in Chile! I lived with an awesome family while I was there, met many amazing people, and saw many beautiful places.
I’m friendly and easygoing. I like talking with people and sharing stories and experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't wait to do the things you want to do in life

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had a few people stay with me while I was living in La Serena, and I am now currently traveling in South America meeting new people and exploring new places!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

very positive experiences so far!

Interests

I have many interests and I am always trying new things. I like all kinds of music, but mainstream American 90’s music is still my favorite. I like to watch and play all sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to read; always trying to find books in English while I am traveling in South America. Love movies; always down to watch a classic or a new flick. Love music; always looking for new artists!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Atacama Desert was one of the most amazing and beautiful places I have ever been. One of my favorite memoires is biking back to town on a desert highway at night with some friends. I had never seen so many stars. The sky was amazing!

There were many other memorable moments when I was hiking in the Patagonia with some friends I had made while teaching in Chile. We trekked the “W,” a trail in the national park Torres de Paine, and saw glaciers, melted snow fed rivers, and white capped mountains everyday.
