CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I grew up in a little town in rural Idaho, left for Seattle and migrated southward along the west coast all the while learning about biology until recently moving to New York to keep studying how the immune system works. I'm a good beer-drinking companion, debater of musical tastes, and hiking partner. A bit of a dreamer, a bit shy at first, a certain amount of nervous energy, and some level of silly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't know yet, this is my first try!
Interests
I enjoy running as fast as I can, riding a bike home through the city at night, above-the-treeline views, nutty coffee, spicy noodles, enormous burritos, funny stories, buttery scones, strange-looking sculptures, hoppy beer, sports analysis, heavily reverbed guitars, squelchy synthesizer noises, moss-covered buildings, furry pets, and science experiments (my job). I spend my time finding these things in more or less equal parts.

Finding a petrified frog in the middle of a wildfire in Idaho.
Seeing Daft Punk play a few years ago, which was a show that made me happy to be alive in the present day.
