About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore migration and aspirations along the border
ABOUT ME
I'm making a trip across the country to research migration and the American dream along the border. I am particularly interested in relations between communities on either side of the border, migrant biographies, border militarization, and local immigration reforms, responses, and attitudes.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is best lived as a series of journey's to and from a place you can call home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I first started to do couchsurfing when I was living in Cadiz Spain, teaching english. I hosted a handful of people and went to some couchsurfing parties. I have been inactive for a while, but would like to get active again. I have never surfed, and I would really enjoy giving it a try.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CouchSurfing is a great idea as long as people are responsible and respectful. It is an interesting and affordable travel alternative, and a fun way to meet new people.
Interests
I'm really interested in US - Latin American relations, and I want to learn about border issues because the border is ground zero for these relations.
