I am a young farmer living on the island Molokai in Hawaii. I moved here from Massachusetts when I was 20 on a whim and I never ended up leaving. I spent this past year as an Americorps volunteer teaching gardening and nutrition to the island's youth. Right now I am helping care take of a homestead with a few other friends in exchange for a place to call home temporarily. We take care of a lot different animals (goats, chickens, sheep, dogs and cats) most of which were rescue animals. We do this work as a non-profit organization called Seed of Love. I am embarking on my first cross country experience where I'll be circling around the United States to visit some major cities and some of the country's beautiful national parks. I feel like America get's a bad rap nowadays and so I'd really like to explore the country I was raised in to let the landscape speak for itself. There's much more to America than politics and military. I'd like to get to know the real America.

I am a musician, first and foremost. I carry my guitar with my everywhere and love to meet and play with other musicians. I have been farming and gardening for the last three years, mainly cultivating different vegetables and fruit trees but as of lately I have been creating more of an ornamental garden for people to walk though and enjoy.

Some of my favorite artists include Phish, Talking Heads, Paul Simon, Grateful Dead, Fela Kuti, Steely Dan, the Beach Boys, and Charles Mingus. I listen to a lot of Jazz and Funk but I have very diverse taste in music.
