About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting great people and experiencing the world.

ABOUT ME

I am happy friendly person, an adventurous and sometimes crazy person. I love experiencing life in all it's beautiful variations, meeting awesome people and discovering new things.

I am a musician and video editor. I love music in all its forms, playing and watching it. I love seeking out new music in new places, jamming with people, being amazed by amazing players. I play the drums, i play in a passionate and flailing way. I love performing to a pumping crowd going nuts on the dance floor, this for me is one of the greatest things in life.

I love travelling and meeting people. For me, the people are always the greatest part of travelling. Traveling friendships are always short but intense and close and often stay alive despite distance after parting. I am still friends with many people i have met while traveling.

I think couchsurfing is the greatest way to do this, to meet great people in a place and experience the place through their eyes, to really get an idea of what real life is like there, find parties, friends, underground events, secret bars, abandoned buildings, parks full of people drinking, jamming, celebrating life. Getting into the life of a place is why i travel... i mean, museaums and monuments and beautiful nature are nice, but people are the really soul of the experience, of any experience really.

When i'm at home in Sydney, i love hosting people and having some of that travel vibe come into my home. I live in a warehouse / barn in Sydney with musician friends. We play in lots of bands and are involved in various community events, warehouse parties and other fun stuff.

Its always fun having couch surfers come and stay (so long as they're cool people... most people are). I love to have the chance so show different people from all around the world the best parts of my city and what makes it tick. Sydney is an awesome place but can be hard to crack for a visitor.

Hmmm... thats enough for now.

PHILOSOPHY

Life can be whatever you want it to be. I try to fill it with exciting and engaging things and love people who do the same. Its about doing and being for me more than planning and looking ahead to some future time that you hope will come. Life is this thing happening now so you may as well enjoy it, and if you don't, change it so that you do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In sydney, i love to have people visit and show them the city, share stories and meals, wine and adventures.

As a traveler, i love to couch surf, meet people, experience their place and their life, cook them a meal and share some experience. Through couch surfing i have made many great new friends. i hope they will make it to Australia some day so i can repay the favour. I know its a long way, but its worth it. All those of you, you know who you are, well everyone reading this really, come to Sydney, you know you want to. It's well worth it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Plenty of lovely guests visiting my home in Sydney. Plenty of lovely hosts all around the world. I really think couchsurfing is one of the greatest things that has happened to humanity and the global community in recent years. All the experiences i have had through couchsurfing have been so positive and fullfilling, its great to have such an easy way to connect with other awesome, like-minded people from all over the world.
