ABOUT ME

I am a divorced father that is trying to be the best father I can be to my 4 year old son. I am not quick to anger and I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people. I love motorcycles and doing most anything outside. I have lived int he Huntsville area for about 7 years now and I have done a lot to get to know the area. I used to do roller derby and I am an engineer so I know both the nerd/straight laced crowd along with the seedy/earthy side of the town. I like being a part of both crowds.

PHILOSOPHY

Take it easy and don't judge others harshly...I try to give people the respect and kindness that I would like to be treated with. Life is a journey and I don't want just let it pass me by. I live a very structured life in my job and I like to push the boundaries at times in my personal life...I want to experience as much as I can!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to host people around here and I look forward to surfing in the future. I love to ride motorcycles so I foresee myself taking long rides and surfing along the way when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet but I have a friend that has hosted and she loved the experience. I am looking forward to it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Where to start??? I love movies, all types. Action, SciFi, Comedies, Classics ...damn near anything.

Music - I love listing to blues. I listen to most anything else also but I do lean towards country; my friends all freak out at that but it is the truth. I also like Tool, Metalica, classic rock...pretty much everything. Lol

Books - Well here I have to admit that I am not a big reader. I read a lot at work and don't seem to do a lot of it for enjoyment. I do on occasion but it is rare. The last book I read was "Ender's Game"...good book. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Outside of seeing how a child redefines your understanding of your life and purpose I would say that skydiving is one of the most amazing things I have done. It was a truly amazing experience that helped me realize how precious life and experiencing life is...it also helped me learn how to not sweat the small stuff. In the end many of the things we worry about really matter as much as we think they do. It really helped out things into perspective for me.
