About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To give and do what I can to make the world a better place.
ABOUT ME
Hello fellow CSers. My name's Jesse and I'm from upstate New York. I'm a very open-minded guy who is open to almost anything. I am currently a pcv in Albania, so you could say I'm an English teacher. Teaching is one of my passions as well as learning. I absolutely love languages, which is one of the reasons why I love couch surfing (hang out with locals + practice some language= perfecto). I also love food (I'm willing to try almost anything..I say almost because it was a struggle for me to try sheep brain for the first time). I also love learning g how to cook (again I'm a novice).
If you want to know more, let's grab a beer or some grub and get to share some stories.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life to the fullest, 'cause as far as we know it's the only one that we've got.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have met a few people from here. One guy met up with my group in Puerto Rico, and he and his friend hung out with us and we shared our food and drinks. It definitely made the occasion a lot more fun. Also I met up with a traveler in Puerto Rico, and I met another friend from her. So basically, I participate by meeting people whenever I can with the intentions of broadening my perspective as well as having a good time!
I also am willing to offer my space to anyone passing by and of course my time to show people around and share my stories (as well as listen)

Teach, Learn, Share
I love languages, so I'd love you learn about yours (and your culture as well). Since I am an American living in Albania, I'd love to share my experience with fellow couch surfers. Whenever I have guest I try to make them feel like my place is their place :) Also if you are coming through my part of the country, feel free to message me to go out for a beer or coffee!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can give people a place to stay of course. I have it as a tradition for travelers visiting me to try village raki. I don't cook very well, but I'm learning and I love making dinner for my guests. I always have coffee and tea as well as a comfy couchbed to crash on. My apartment is small, but the kitchen/living room where my hosts will be staying has a door and even locks, so it's optimal privacy.
