About Me

I am moving to Germany because: (This is what I get asked most)
I am half German
I have family in parts of Germany
I have always had fast cars and nowhere fast to drive them (Autobahn here I come)
I want to travel all around Europe bit by bit
I want to make a new language my first language and live as a local in a new culture
I want to live in a culture more progressive than our extremely slow system in Australia
I want to start a business and Berlin is apparently a great place to do that
Everyone says Berlin is amazing!

About me as a person I like my technology and my cars and I will start a business in technology. I like to keep extremely fit and ideally lift weights 10 hours a week. But this does not mean I don't indulge on good food and drink. I love my german wheat beers, the ones that are available in Australia that are my favourites are Schöfferhofer, Erdinger and Weihenstephaner but we don't get exposed to many German beers so i'm looking forward to that! Food is just too extensive to begin.

I can read about 60% of German but I can't speak it much, I intend to speak German as much as I can when I get to Germany but if people want to speak English with me to better their English I am very happy to do so. I speak extremely good English with an extensive vocabulary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to do a mix of staying in Hostels and Couchsurfing to first of all improve my German and secondly experience different crowds and areas before picking an area to find and commit myself to my own apartment.

I believe in Germany Everyone takes their whole kitchen from apartment to apartment so it will take a bit of time to be ready for such an undertaking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is just too difficult... I like things varying from Mozart to Dubstep to Hardcore (Metal)

Movie & TV series: (In no specific order)
Matrix, Lord of the rings & Hobbit, Star wars, Firefly, Inception, Game of thrones, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Cosmos, Vikings, House M.D., Planet Earth, 28 days later, Resident evil, Walking Dead, Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is an interestingly vague question which at first seems like achievements but then you realise it's not necessarily but it reflects your mindset.

I judge the most amazing thing i've done was looking after my Oma whilst she was dying of cancer. I cared for her for months and was there for her right until she died in my hands.
