About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the world a better place by sharing my gifts and talents with the people I come across.
ABOUT ME
I hate doing this, so I had a friend take a min to describe me. Here are his comments as best as I can remember them.
Very genuine, exceptionally articulate, punctual, extroverted to a point, caring and compassionate, trust worthy, you have a faith that is a model for my own.
PHILOSOPHY
I feel like anything I put here will be either misleading or oversimplified, so I apologize in advance for the brevity.
I'm a follower of Christ, and believe the Bible is relevant to our lives today and that we can have a personal relationship with the God described in it. I do my best to live by it on a daily basis.
I believe people are meant to be in each others lives and that means meeting people, spending time with people, and being real with people. I don't like making up stories or people who are fake. You can't truly love someone if you don't know who they really are, and you cannot love someone if you are not who you really are. And we are here to love one another.

Just getting started with this. I'm excited to both host and visit people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm quite eclectic, but love anything that will inspire my mind. My favorite music styles are jazz, classical, alternative indie rock & opera. Favorite books are usually non-fiction and are books to learn from as much as enjoy. Occasionally I like to pick up a classic or a novel though. As for movies, I love Gus Van Sant films, and other things one might consider cerebral.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Haiti for 3 months following the earthquake in 2010 to manage a rebuild of an orphanage in Jacmel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach and share the skills I've learned through the years. I especially love teaching photo and video. I'm also a lifecoach and church media director.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversation, prayer, a bottle of wine, and a night out or in.
