About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To become a master of time and space.
ABOUT ME
I spent most of my adult life in Chicago, and just moved to Philadelphia to finish my Master's in Greek and Latin Literature. Just began teaching Latin. Trying to decide whether to stay in teaching now or to go get a PhD and then get into the classroom teaching, but at some point there is going to be a classroom with my name on it. I spend most of my time in books, which leaves barely enough time for playing music and riding motorcycles. But I try.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is learning, and vice versa. That includes anything from learning a new language (something I'm always working on) to learning that I really don't like the taste of Limburger cheese, now matter how much I try.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm just getting started in couch surfing, and hope to both host and surf. Probably in that order.
Interests
Indie music, Russian literature, food, US government policy, motorcycling, running, world history, city life, baked goods, languages, bicycling. And I'd like to begin hiking again.

Teach, Learn, Share
Well, as a Latinist I can tell you the origin of words like parachronism. Neat, huh?
