Known for his amiable disposition, catchy songwriting, and intimate performances, Jesse Lacy experiments with his history in classical and pop music when composing for his contemporary singer-songwriter group. The Herald Times calls them "a trio of fun," and Appetizer Radio describes the experience as "musical story telling."

Lacy plays guitar, sings lead vocals and is the group’s songwriter. In 2013, he released his debut solo album, 'First Steps,' with the help of a successful Kickstarter campaign and went on an East Coast tour, where he performed 16 dates in 13 different cities.

After returning to his hometown, Lacy started assembling a band that would help refine the sound and develop his notebook of new songs. Wade Van Orman, a multi-instrumentalist attracted to the rock stylings of Roxy Music and the Beatles, contacted Lacy after a mutual friend, Dena El Saffar (of Salaam), mention Lacy's new project. Soon after, Sam Loeck, a bassist coming to Jacobs School of Music (IU) to study as a Masters student in classical bass performance, responded to a Craigslist ad Lacy had posted and joined the project. With featured performances from Dane Clark (John Mellencamp, James Horner) and several other talents, Lacy will release his second album.

Away from performance, Lacy is known for his features/interviews with talented songwriters from all around the world (#Friday Feature) that he includes in his blog. He is also the administrator of the Facebook group, Musicians Stronger Together (MST), a music business advise and networking blog created to help fellow musicians succeed in the music industry.
