About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Ride the wave of life on a horse with no name while desperately trying to finish books before adding even more to the list. It's going about as well as learning french.

ABOUT ME

Hello!

I'm just finishing my time in an acting conservatory in Montreal. I also love playing music: jazz piano, guitar/bass, songwriting.

Still don't know if I'm an introvert of an extravert. I like my quiet down time to walk and read, but I'm always ready to go out and see some music, or dance, or run or frisbee or shotput or logrolling or bear chasing (OK not the last three, but the point is I am down for most things).

I kind of like cleaning. . . a bit strange, but possibly very beneficial if I'm staying with you.

I like to read many things. And I'm pretty good at reading out loud. (hint hint to those who can't sleep)

Meeting cool new people who have a variety of opinions, ideas, and experiences is (as the great Tina would say) simply the best.

I'll always come with a bottle of wine to share, and I won't use your house as some kind of hostel. I've explored many places alone, and don't need a whole lot to get by, but if my host has the time I'd always love to get to know them and truly make it a symbiotic experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When we was studying spanish in Guatemala, me and my childhood best friend hiked up a mountain with a lake on top. The lake was small; you could walk around it in twenty minutes and easily see across it. We found a tree that had fallen about 20 feet into the water and climbed on it. Then the clouds came in, and surrounded us and within seconds we couldn't see land, from any direction. Just like we were floating in the ocean. Won't ever forget it.

I'm also pretty positive Bruce Springsteen looked right into my eyes during a concert once.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach? I know a lot about music theory, I can talk a lot of about theatre. I'm not a bad editor. But I'm probably better at just talking about my experiences and listening to others.

I cook a bit and would love to expand my abilities!

I've had my share of traditional and non-traditional education, but I know that one-on-one teaching is the best you can get. I also know that when you teach something you deepen your relationship to it, so if a host or guest wants to share, I am always open to learn.
