About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Heading on an epic adventure with my girlfriend and sidekick Arwen. We are leaving our options open as to where we go and what we do. We are both tired of the prescribed and structured trips of our past. We've got three months an open mind and open map.

ABOUT ME

I've managed to host some of the most amazing travelers as they've made there way through the college town of Eugene. As a child my mother always kept an open room in our house in the chance that someone meandering through might need a place to stay. I hope to further these experiences by turning the tables and becoming one of those wanderers.

PHILOSOPHY

The universe conspires in our favor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to be a surfer for my time through south america and eventually host when I return to the monotony of my everyday life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a ton of different types of music. Some of my favorites are the Rolling Stones, the Smiths, The Knife, Crystal Castles, Ghostland Observatory, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, Neutral Milk Hotel, Phoenix, Metronomy, Explosions in the sky... the list goes on and on.

As for movies, I have eclectic taste...I seem to find myself watching a lot of random documentaries lately..

Books are something I haven't had the pleasure of reading for my own benefit because of school. Some books I have found fascinating are The Alchemist, Secrets of an economic hit man, The Power of One, Collapse...to name a few. I hope to get more of my own reading done on my next adventure South.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up in Hawaii, which some people find fascinating. I spent a year of my life in Cambodia when I was 12. I've travelled pretty extensively throughout Europe and Asia...
